Terms of Service

The rules for using this website and my hosting plans.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and me, Ryan, known online as Senka Wolf, an individual based in the United Kingdom. They cover:

  • your use of this website, senkawolf.com, and
  • the web hosting plans I provide on my server, senkawolf.cloud, as described on the Pricing page.

By using this website or a hosting plan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Some parts of these terms apply differently depending on whether you're a consumer (using a plan for personal purposes) or a business. If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under UK consumer law.

2. Using this website

You're welcome to browse this website for personal, non-commercial use. Unless stated otherwise, the content on it, including text, images, logos and code, belongs to me or is used with permission. Please don't copy or republish it without asking first.

Files offered for download, such as game configuration files, are provided free and as they are, without any guarantee that they'll work for you.

You must not misuse this website, for example by trying to hack it, overload it, scrape it in bulk or introduce malware.

This website links to other sites I don't control, such as social media and client websites. I'm not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

3. Hosting plans

The features, limits and prices of each plan are shown on the Pricing page. To sign up, contact me through my Discord server. Our agreement starts when I confirm your plan and you make your first payment.

To take out a plan you must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you. Please give accurate details when signing up and keep them up to date.

Your plan's limits, such as storage, databases and subdomains, are enforced automatically. If you reach a limit, the related feature will be restricted until you free up space or upgrade.

4. Payment and billing

  • Prices are in pounds sterling (£).
  • Monthly plans are paid in advance each month. Annual plans are paid in full, in advance, for the year.
  • Payment is made using the method we agree when you sign up.
  • If a payment is more than 7 days late, I may suspend your service until it's paid. If it's more than 30 days late, I may end your plan as described in section 10.
  • I may change prices for future billing periods. I'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Upgrades and downgrades

On a monthly plan, upgrades and downgrades take effect when the new monthly billing arrangement starts. For an upgrade, that's once the first payment at the new price is taken.

On an annual plan, upgrading means paying the difference between the two plans for the rest of your year, and your renewal date stays the same. Downgrading takes effect straight away, but the difference isn't refunded.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers)

If you're a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of our agreement starting, for any reason. If you asked me to set up your hosting during those 14 days, I'll refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the service you received before cancelling. Otherwise you'll get a full refund. Refunds are made within 14 days using the same payment method.

After the first 14 days

  • Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, with no cancellation fee. Your service continues until the end of the month you've paid for and then stops.
  • Annual plans can be cancelled at any time, with no cancellation fee, but the unused part of the year isn't refunded. Your service continues until the end of the paid year.

To cancel, send a request in your support channel on my private Discord server.

This doesn't affect your legal rights. If I fail to provide the service as described, or don't provide it with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repeat of the service or a full or partial refund, whatever plan you're on.

6. Acceptable use

Hosting is shared with other customers, so you must not use your plan to host, send or do anything that:

  • is illegal in the UK, or encourages illegal activity
  • involves child sexual abuse material. This is reported to the authorities immediately.
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademarks or other rights, including pirated software, films, music or games
  • is phishing, fraud, a scam, or impersonates another person or organisation
  • spreads malware, or is used for hacking, port scanning or attacks on other systems
  • sends spam or unsolicited bulk email
  • is hateful, harassing or threatening, or promotes violence or terrorism
  • mines cryptocurrency, or runs as a file-sharing, proxy, VPN or Tor service
  • uses an unreasonable share of server resources, so that it harms other customers
  • tries to get round your plan's limits or access other customers' accounts or data

If I believe you've broken these rules, I may remove the content, suspend your service or end your plan, as explained in section 10.

7. Your content and account

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give me permission to store, copy and serve it only as far as I need to in order to provide your hosting.

You're responsible for your websites and their content. That includes making sure you have the right to use it, and following any laws that apply to your website, such as having your own privacy policy if you collect visitors' data.

Keep your login details secure, and use two-factor authentication where it's offered. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell me straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

8. Backups

I take regular backups of the server to help recover from problems, but they're a safety net, not a guarantee. You should keep your own up-to-date copies of your websites, databases and files. I take reasonable care with your data, but I can't promise backups will always be complete or available.

9. Availability and support

I aim to keep the service running at all times, but I can't promise it will never be interrupted. Downtime can be caused by maintenance, security updates or problems with my infrastructure providers. I'll try to give notice of planned maintenance where I can.

Support is provided through your private channel on my Discord server. I deal with service-breaking problems first and as quickly as I can. Support isn't available 24/7, and other requests are handled in my free time. The uptime target, maintenance notice and support response times are set out in the Service Level Agreement.

10. Suspension and termination

I may suspend or end your plan if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or don't pay. Where it's reasonable to do so, I'll contact you first and give you a chance to put things right. I may act straight away, without notice, if your content is illegal, puts the server or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it.

If I decide to stop offering hosting altogether, I'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any payment for the time after the service ends.

When your plan ends for any reason, your data is kept for 30 days so you can ask for a copy, and is then permanently deleted. This includes data in my backups, which is deleted as they expire. Please download anything you need before your plan ends.

11. Data protection for hosted websites

If your hosted website collects personal data about other people, such as visitors, members or customers, you're the data controller for that data, and I act as your data processor. This section forms our data processing agreement under Article 28 of UK GDPR. When acting as your processor I will:

  • only process that data to provide your hosting, or as you instruct, unless the law requires otherwise
  • keep it confidential, and only let people access it who are bound by confidentiality
  • take appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encrypted connections, two-factor authentication on the control panel, a web application firewall and encrypted backups
  • use other providers (sub-processors) only with appropriate data protection terms in place. My current sub-processor is DigitalOcean, which provides the server infrastructure. I'll give you notice before adding or replacing one, so you can object or cancel.
  • help you respond to requests from people using their data protection rights, and with your other obligations under UK GDPR, as far as reasonably possible
  • tell you without undue delay if I become aware of a personal data breach affecting your data
  • delete or return your data when your plan ends, as described in section 10
  • give you the information you reasonably need to show these obligations are being met

How I handle your own personal data as a customer, such as your account details, is explained in the server's privacy policy. How this website handles visitors' data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.

If you're a consumer

I'm responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of me breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. I'm not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable. If you use the service for business purposes, I'm not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

If you're a business

I'm not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data. My total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

Events outside my control

I'm not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside my reasonable control. Examples include failures of my infrastructure providers, internet outages, cyber attacks, power cuts or natural disasters. If this happens, I'll let you know and do what I reasonably can to restore the service.

13. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in my services. If a change affects hosting customers, I'll tell you through Discord at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree with the change, you can cancel before it applies. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these terms last changed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any disputes. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

15. Contact

If you have any questions about these terms, contact me through my Discord server. Hosting customers can also use their private support channel.
